It’s not Keerthy Suresh, but Madonna who’ll Play Sasikumar’s Heroine
While it was earlier reported that Keerthy Suresh is likely to be roped in for Sasikumar’s film with his Sundarapandian director SR Prabhakaran, now, it is Madonna Sebastian who has bagged the project. The rural entertainer, titled Kombu Vatcha Singamda, will go on floor on November 3 and will be shot in Karaikudi and Pollachi.
The film’s producer, Inder Kumar, who is also acting in it, says, “Yes, we have signed on Madonna as the heroine. She will be seen as a village girl.”
The film, he informs, is a sort of a sequel to Sundarapandian. “There will be some changes from the first film, but nothing major. Sasikumar’s character will be an extension of what he played in Sundarapandian. Soori, Yogi Babu and Haresh Peradi are part of the cast. Veteran director Mahendran will be seen in a crucial role while I’m playing one of the antagonists,” he reveals.
Inder reveals that the team is planning to complete the film in a single schedule. “We are actually hoping to wrap this project up quickly and looking at releasing it for Pongal,” he says.
