Special trains announced between Tambaram and Kollam
Madurai: Southern Railway has announced a pair of special trains and changes in pattern of train services due to line block in Madurai railway division.
According to statement, train no. 06027 Tambaram – Kollam special fare special will leave Tambaram at 5.30pm on March 30 and reach Kollam at 10.30am the next day. Train no. 06028 Kollam – Tambaram special fare special will leave Kollam at 1pm on March 31 and reach Tambaram at 5.05am the next day. Advance reservations for the above trains are open.
In another statement, the division stated that due to engineering work between Kodaikanal Road – Vadipatti stations in the Dindigul –Madurai sections, the following changes are made in train services for two days on March 30 and 31.
Train no. 56769 Palakkad – Tiruchendur passenger will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Tirunelveli on these days, and train no. 56770 Tiruchendur – Palakkad passenger train will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Dindigul as well. Train no. 16343 Thiruvananthapuram – Madurai Amritha Express will be regulated 50 minutes at Kodaikanal Road on March 30 and 31.
